We believe childhood hunger in Wyoming is a problem that can be solved. We work to prevent food insecurity by increasing awareness and support for the work of local anti-hunger organizations statewide and by advocating for a future where no child faces the school day on an empty stomach. Penrose Place is a 15 unit, two-story HUD 202 PRAC subsidized complex in Sheridan, Wyoming for individuals age 62 or older and their spouses who meet income requirements. The one-bedroom, unfurnished apartments are cozy and comfortable with complete kitchens. Each apartment has its own thermostat controlled furnace and air conditioner. A laundry room is available within the facility on the first floor and is equipped with two washers and two dryers at no charge.

Platte County Legacy Home, where we have been dedicated to providing service for the communities in our county for over 40 years. At Platte County Legacy Home, we strive to provide a continuum of excellent care and service to the aging in a spirit of love, respect, and compassion. We are now in a brand new facility with over 49,947 square feet. We offer semi-private and private rooms, totaling 50 nursing home beds and 16 assisted living beds.

The SSVF program provides eligible veteran families with outreach, case management, assistance obtaining VA benefits, and other supportive services and financial assistance. Assistance can include:- Rent assistance- Rental deposits- Car repair - Connection to VA resources/benefits

CCSS is a non-profit organization providing senior programs and assistance for individuals 60 years of age and over. Funded by state and federal grants along with assistance from Crook County Commissioners, Towns of Sundance, Hulett, and Moorcroft. We offer a Nutrition Program, Senior Companion Assistance, Medical Alert, Respite Care, Personal Care, Homemaking Services, AARP Driver Safety Classes, Social Activities, Blood Pressure & Toenail Clinics, Transportation and more!

The Center provides holistic legal representation to Wyoming children or vulnerable adults and their families, children's policy advocacy, and non-legal alternatives to resolve legal problems involving children. Legal services are offered statewide for situations that impact the health, education, safety or well-being of a child or vulnerable adult.

This initiative, funded by the Craig Newmark Philanthropies through the Bob Woodruff Foundation; Cindy and Dan Starks through the Wyoming Hunger Initiative: the Kuehne Foundation, Hughes Foundation and private donation aims to get funding, through grocery gift cards, into the hands of veterans with or without families.

Services depend upon priority service areas, resources, meritorious claims, and policies and procedures. P&A conducts abuse, neglect, and exploitation investigations in state institutions and of community providers of services. Other service areas include employment accommodations; housing rights; and voting rights.
