The VFW is a nonprofit veteran’s service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, Guard and Reserve forces. The VFW and its Auxiliary are dedicated to veteran’s service, legislative advocacy, and military and community service programs.

The American Legion can assist veterans and service members with a 1 time only emergency financial assistance. This is only as funding permits. Offers Veterans, Active Duty Service Members and Reservists the opportunity to become members of The American Legion. The Community Health Center Pharmacy assists thousands of patients every year. Our pharmacists are on hand to not only fill your prescription requests but also to discuss medication side effects and medication interactions. We also work with our Fremont County clinics and patients to offer the same pharmaceutical services. To help save you time and money, we will ship your prescriptions to your local clinic.

Alzheimer's Association delivers education & awareness presentations that promote risk reduction, early detection, and diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease and all other dementia. We provide education that supports caregivers, faith/community/business leaders, health systems, and more so that we may collectively ensure that all who are living with a dementia have the care and support they need. Our Helpline is staffed by masters level trained staff provide who provide support 24/7 at 800-272-3900

Veterans who served in Vietnam are encouraged to register on the Agent Orange Registry located in Room B1-40, Cheyenne VA Medical Center. Agent Orange was a tactical herbicide used by the military.

For patient convenience, there is a pharmacy located in the Outpatient Center, next to the Sidewalk Cafe. Hospital Pharmacy West is a private company (not affiliated with the hospital) offering traditional pharmaceutical services. Most services and medical equipment are Medicare/Medicaid eligible.

Wind River Family and Community Health Center are comprised of three pharmacies in three different locations. These three locations provide convenience for many of our patient population. Our pharmacy team is caring, compassionate and easy to talk with.

Miracle Flights provides free commercial airline tickets to children in need of distant, specialized medical care and /or second opinions. Our flight support is provided to children at no cost to the family, as many times as necessary. Our flight programs include domestic travel to U.S. treatment facilities, and to train/ retrieve a service dog.

Treasure Abilities in Cheyenne, WY, was born in 2016. It started as an agency that offered Case Management Services to adults and children with Developmental Disabilities or brain injury under the Developmental Disability Waiver. In 2020, we expanded our journey to the Home and Community Based Waiver Services.

Offering the following services: Home Health Nursing, Home Health Aides, Medical Social Worker, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Newborn & Pediatric Nursing, Long-Term Care/Home Community-Based Waiver Services.

The Children's Mental Health Waiver is a wraparound service that provides care coordination services to help support the entire family. ABLE is an agency with the Children's Mental Health Waiver. We provide Family Care Coordinator, Family Support, Respite, Youth Support, and Youth/Family Training.

Uinta Senior Center Inc. has also provided in-home services in Lincoln County, under the USCI name in the Kemmerer area of South Lincoln County, and dba North Lincoln In-Home Services in the Star Valley area of Northern Lincoln County. Two of the primary programs in use are Wyoming Home Services (WyHS) and National Family Caregiver Support Program (NFCSP).

The Financial Advocates department assists in underinsured and uninsured patients in navigating federal and state health insurance programs and help enroll those patients in the programs which they are eligible. This also extends to helping sign up for supplemental or advantage plans for Medicare. The Medication Assistance Program helps find Patient Assistance programs, copay cards or grants that can cover medication cost.
