The Wyoming Home Services (WyHS) program is used to provide services to those qualified individuals who are at risk of premature institutionalization. These services are designed to keep people in the least restrictive environment for as long as possible. We believe childhood hunger in Wyoming is a problem that can be solved. We work to prevent food insecurity by increasing awareness and support for the work of local anti-hunger organizations statewide and by advocating for a future where no child faces the school day on an empty stomach. Nourished kids, healthy families, and thriving communities: that's the goal of Wyoming Hunger Initiative.

Element Church RedShelf is currently serving patients who are just released from CRMC. RedShelf offers grocery delivery and pre-made meals for patients up to 4 weeks following their discharge date. RedShelf is by referral only. For all other food needs, Element Church will provide a shelf stable food bag, Monday - Thursday 9am - 3pm at the church office.

Providing food for individuals in need. Food Pantry is scheduled once a week to be open however anyone in an emergency can call for food.

Urgent Care centers provide routine treatment for urgent, but non-emergency, non-life-threatening issues. This includes minor injuries and common illnesses such as cuts and scrapes that require stitches, rashes, sinus infections, or fevers.

The American Legion can assist veterans and service members with a 1 time only emergency financial assistance. This is only as funding permits. Offers Veterans, Active Duty Service Members and Reservists the opportunity to become members of The American Legion.Can assist veterans and service members locating local Veteran Service Officers and other persons able to assist with benefit questions and filing of forms and claims.

Village Caregiving of Cheyenne provides the elderly with compassionate home care services that enable them to retain their independence and remain in the comfort of their own homes. Village Caregiving provides assistance with bathing, eating, meal preparation, toileting, grooming, and other activities of daily living support. Additionally, Village Caregiving can provide support by lending a hand with light housekeeping, errand running, and transportation for appointments.

The Wyoming Pioneer Home is a comforting, resident-centered alternative for a senior who doesn't require intensive, skilled nursing care. Assisted living at the WPH is designed for senior adults who wish to maintain their independent lifestyle but may need just a little additional assistance with some daily activities. Everyone is encouraged to stay active for as long as possible. WPH employs a full-time activity director. Several activities are arranged daily, including outside excursions.

The SSVF program provides eligible veteran families with outreach, case management, assistance obtaining VA benefits, and other supportive services and financial assistance. Assistance can include:- Rent assistance- Rental deposits- Car repair - Connection to VA resources/benefits

Our areas of service include: Provide mercy transportation by air or ground Transport patents, relatives, and supplies Transport ministers to their mission field Assist in Disasters Witness at air shows, airports, and in our everyday lives Foster Christian fellowship at meetings, at or near airports Distribute tracts and Bibles free of charge Support youth interested in aviation through our scholarship program Support and aid to Veterans and Military Service Members.

Family Practice Clinic

Veteran callers are connected to local Service Officers that can inform veterans & family members about state and federal benefits. Service Officers assist with forms, claims and coordination, the Medals for Veterans Program, and the Incarcerated Veterans Program. Outreach is conducted throughout the state and territories.

The Department of Family Services promotes the safety, well-being and self-sufficiency of families through community partnerships. Local DFS offices can help qualifying families with supplemental nutrition assistance (SNAP), child support program, POWER program, child care expense assistance and other needed services.

The Caregiver Support Program offers a variety of services for you as the caregiver including: Skills training, mobile support, one-on-one coaching, group support and coaching, self-care, peer support mentoring, telephone support, online programs, and referrals to available VA and community resources.

One Health Providers recommend patients complete an annual wellness exam to stay up-to-date on their primary care. During Wellness visits, Providers discuss Preventive Care with patients. Recommended Preventive screenings, immunizations, and other interventions vary per patient based on age and gender. Patients should check with their insurance company to learn what services are covered in a Wellness Visit.
