St. John’s Hospice Care takes an integrated approach, which involves the hospice medical director, skilled nurses, social workers, pharmacists, certified nursing assistants, spiritual care, trained volunteers, grief and bereavement support, and, of course, the patient and their families.

Qualifying seniors age 60 and over: Leisure & Recreation – Social activities include just hanging out, TV, socializing, puzzles, cards, and board games. Monthly Birthday celebration dinner is served on a Wednesday (In the middle of the month). Applications can be picked up inside.

Travel assistance benefits are funds that are intended to assist Medicaid clients with transportation costs. These funds are only meant to assist clients to get to and from medically necessary appointments and are not intended to cover the full expense of the trip. When the client meets certain requirements, they may request assistance with mileage or another method of travel. The transportation method is based on the client’s medical needs and cost effectiveness.

The Modest Means Program (MMP) provides reduced-cost legal assistance to individuals whose annual income is too high to qualify for free legal services, but cannot afford the expertise of attorneys at the standard rate. Attorneys participating in the program agree to assist Modest Means Program clients for no more than $75 an hour and no more than a $500 refillable retainer (if necessary).

Cody Regional Health Long Term Care Center (LTCC) is a skilled nursing facility fully licensed by the Wyoming Department of Health to provide skilled, intermediate, rehabilitation, custodial, respite and hospice care. Certified by Medicare and Medicaid.

The Laramie County Senior Activity Center is centrally located in downtown Cheyenne. We offer various programs to enhance and encourage healthy living habits and stimulate mental well-being; opportunities to improve physical strength, flexibility and balance. Exercise classes and physical programs are available. Lunch served 7 days a week and breakfast 5 days a week. The Center also has a lending library and a small gym. We offer a great variety of senior outings throughout the month.
