We typically assist with past due utilities, rent, temporary housing, food, diapers, formula, filling out paperwork, pet food, prescriptions, emergency fuel, if we cannot help you directly then we will do our best to connect you with someone who can.

The Wind River Cares Diabetes Awareness Program offers three services for current diabetic clients. A participant is anyone who has been diagnosed with Diabetes Type 1 or Type 2 and applies for services through the Wind River Cares Diabetes Awareness Program (WRCDAP). Participants are eligible for assistance with eyeglasses, podiatry and dentistry.

Essential Living Support, LLC, in Cheyenne, WY, was founded in 2024. It started as a home-based provider focused on supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Veterans, and individuals needing daily living assistance. In 2026, we expanded our services as a certified Wyoming DD Waiver provider, offering Community Living Support, Personal Care Services, Homemaker Services, Community Support Services, Companion Services, Adult Day Services, and Respite Care.

Provides congregate meals, home-delivered meals, personal emergency response systems, homemakers, outreach, social & recreational activities. Seniors over 60 YOA Public transportation, Food Bank & Mobile Food Pantry for all ages.

The Modest Means Program (MMP) provides reduced-cost legal assistance to individuals whose annual income is too high to qualify for free legal services, but cannot afford the expertise of attorneys at the standard rate. Attorneys participating in the program agree to assist Modest Means Program clients for no more than $110 an hour and a $1,000 refillable retainer (if necessary).
