Both primary medical and mental health services are available at the Cody VA Clinic. Those Veterans in need of services not available at a particular community outpatient clinic, like the Cody clinic, are either referred to the Sheridan VA Medical Center, another VA facility within the region, or are scheduled locally within the local community. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, excluding holidays.

We provide Home Care services in Sheridan, Johnson, & Campbell Counties. We help people in our communities with daily living tasks (like cooking, housekeeping, showering, medication reminders, dressing, running errands, appointments, etc.) so everyone can live a longer, fuller life in their own home. We can also assist with home care following surgeries, provide respite care for family caregivers who need a break, or just provide an occasional drop-in service to ensure everything is going well.

Forensic Nursing Program serves all victims of crime by providing immediate, compassionate, culturally sensitive, and comprehensive medical/forensic evaluation and treatment within the parameters established by the Wyoming State Board of Nursing, the International Association of Forensic Nurses, and Ivinson Memorial Hospital. Our services include, but are not limited to, evidence collection, medical forensic examinations, forensic photography, injury documentation, referrals/reporting help.

The Afton VA Clinic team is proud to support the medical and mental health of area Veterans. While our clinic is small, we're able to provide extensive care options through the Sheridan VA Medical Center, other VA facilities, via national telehealth options or locally within the community. The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a USDA program designed to improve the health of people at least 60 years of age with low income by supplementing their diets with nutritious foods. Eligible adults receive a monthly food box consisting of non-perishable protein, milk (powdered or UHT), juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and refrigerated cheese. Nutrition education and recipes are also included in the food boxes.

WCRS assists Wyoming citizens by providing cancer information and resources; public education about cancer, risk reduction; assist people with cancer diagnoses to access resources; assist people to enroll in state funded cancer screening programs; assist cancer patients with limited transportation funds.
