The Wind River Cares Diabetes Awareness Program offers three services for current diabetic clients. A participant is anyone who has been diagnosed with Diabetes Type 1 or Type 2 and applies for services through the Wind River Cares Diabetes Awareness Program (WRCDAP). The Modest Means Program (MMP) provides reduced-cost legal assistance to individuals whose annual income is too high to qualify for free legal services, but cannot afford the expertise of attorneys at the standard rate. Beyond the In-Home services, Rendezvous Pointe offers a lending closet for anyone in temporary need whether due to an accident, surgery or other infirmity. Among other items, the Closet includes walkers, canes, crutches, shower and bath benches, pill boxes, toilet seat risers, wheel chairs, electric wheelchairs, and wheelchair ramps.
