Local support to help families and caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related illnesses care for their loved ones. We provide – FREE OF CHARGE – direct services, support, encouragement, access to many community resources and techniques to help caregivers meet the challenges of caring for their loved ones. Our goal is to provide vital services to those with dementia and their loved ones, and to be a lifeline for families during this difficult process.

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care program is designed to help patients and their families address the complex medical, behavioral, and social needs of Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia.
Offering workshops for caregivers. The ten weekly workshops will start Monday September 11th with a light dinner at 5:30pm followed by the workshops and activities for loved ones at 6:30pm.
The Buffalo Senior Center offers a wide variety of activities for our patrons to keep their minds and bodies active and engaged. The Buffalo Area Transit System makes trips to Sheridan three times a week and once a month to Casper. We also sponsor visually impaired, and cancer support groups.

Give an Hour is a national nonprofit that provides barrier-free mental health counseling. We are able to do this incredible work because of our network of mental health professionals across the nation who volunteer one hour per week for one year to those who qualify for our services.

As an advocate for a healthy community, we offer a variety of support groups including Stroke Survivor and Caregiver Support Group. We offer a range of topics at support group that may include kinds of strokes, changes after a stroke, therapy options, the grief process and how to cope after a stroke. Monthly meetings for anyone who is dealing with, supporting someone with or has an interest in Parkinson's Disease. There is also a weekly Power Punch Boxing class that is held weekly. This is a non-contact form of boxing, especially created for People with Parkinson's (PwP), and they are encouraged to bring along one CarePartner to the FREE classes. All equipment is also provided at no cost to the participants.

Johnson County Healthcare, Senior Life Solutions is a program designed to meet the unique needs of individuals typically 65 and older, experiencing depression or anxiety related to life changes often associated with aging, is here to help address the behavioral and emotional health of the older adults in our community.
Certified by the American Diabetes Association, JCHC’s Diabetes Self-Management Education program (DSME) teaches you how to manage diabetes more effectively through blood sugar monitoring, healthy nutrition, exercise, medications, and how to manage stress. Programs like this have been shown to reduce A1c levels, prevent or reduce diabetes complications, improve quality of life, and lower medical expenses.

Hospice provides aggressive management of pain and other symptoms consistent with disease progression and the end of life addresses the social, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient and family through counseling, education and support.

PAR provides programs and services that give a patient the tools they need to ease Parkinson related symptoms. Whether it be a zoom call with a case manager in the comfort of one's home, educational webinars or support groups, PAR's resources help ease the burden of the disease.
