Rural Health Clinic

One Health Providers recommend patients complete an annual wellness exam to stay up-to-date on their primary care. During Wellness visits, Providers discuss Preventive Care with patients. Recommended Preventive screenings, immunizations, and other interventions vary per patient based on age and gender. Patients should check with their insurance company to learn what services are covered in a Wellness Visit.

The Afton VA Clinic team is proud to support the medical and mental health of area Veterans. While our clinic is small, we're able to provide extensive care options through the Sheridan VA Medical Center, other VA facilities, via national telehealth options or locally within the community. Health West is a non-profit, federally funded community health center that offers medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral health services. We empower our patients by proactively providing quality, affordable, patient-centered healthcare.

Rural Health Clinic

Provides comprehensive reproductive health services and some primary services to our community on a sliding fee scale. Services include: annual exams, all current forms of birth control, STD testing and treatment, rapid HIV testing, pregnancy testing and all options counseling, breast exams, emergency contraception, LGBTQ healthcare, safer sex counseling, and referrals for specialized healthcare. Insurance accepted.

The Clinic provides high-quality integrated healthcare services for uninsured individuals experiencing poverty, at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line (FPL). The Clinic delivers services to nearly 400 individuals and families each year who cannot afford or do not qualify for health insurance.

The Family Medical Center (FMC) is Johnson County Healthcare Center’s outpatient medical clinic.
