Legal advocacy service for people with documented disabilities throughout Wyoming with civil rights issues. Services depend upon priority service areas, resources, meritorious claims, and policies and procedures. P&A conducts abuse, neglect, and exploitation investigations in state institutions and of community providers of services. Other service areas include employment accommodations; housing rights; and voting rights.

Protection and Advocacy for Individuals With Disabilities
The Modest Means Program (MMP) provides reduced-cost legal assistance to individuals whose annual income is too high to qualify for free legal services, but cannot afford the expertise of attorneys at the standard rate. Attorneys participating in the program agree to assist Modest Means Program clients for no more than $75 an hour and no more than a $500 refillable retainer (if necessary).
Laramie County Community Partnership and HealthWorks Medical-Legal Partnership brings free legal assistance to low-income patients who are experiencing legal problems. This is Wyoming's first Medical-Legal Partnership.
